6. No shop can issue dollar notes unless its capital is

T10,000 and then only to value of 1/3 rd. of its

authorised note issue.

7. Every note issuing shop must either hypothecate property (see after, Nos. 10 & 11) or secure a satisfactory shop guarantee to be approved by the chamber of commerce. The guarantor must accept full responsibility and his guarantee will only be accepted to cover a note issue not exceeding 1/3 rd. of his capital.

In case of bankruptcy of note issuing firm, guarantors will be held responsible for collection and payment

of notes in full. They will then share with other

unsecured creditors in bankruptcy estate.

No guarantor can be decurity for more than one note

issuing firm.

10 & 11. Where there is no shop security, only house pro- perty in Port Edward (duly insured against fire) or erland within 1 mile of Port Edward will be accepted as security. The Goverment titles to such house property or land must be deposited with the chamber. Notes may then be issued to value of market price

of securities deposited.

12. In all cases where notes are issued, a cash deposit

must be made with the Chamber of 1/10th. value of
